7mm Scale hinges

Enhance your model railway with these O Gauge (7mm Scale) Door/Gate Hinges, meticulously crafted to bring a touch of realism to your miniature world. Each hinge is designed to fit seamlessly into the 1:43.5 scale, ensuring an authentic look for your doors and gates. They are fully working, the barrel of each hinge articulating on a 0.4mm wire rod.

The hinges come in kit form and will need assembling. This is a simple process of lining up the two parts of the hinge and inserting a length of 0.4mm wire through the barrel of the hinge, and applying a dab of either super glue or solder to secure it. Full instruction provided.

With a pack quantity of six, you can easily outfit multiple doors and gates across your layout. They are an essential addition for modellers seeking to elevate the detailing and functionality of your railway.

The hinges are suitable for large doors, such as those often found on engine shed doors, goods shed doors, or heavy duty hinges on large agricultural gates.

The hinges have been modelled from real prototypes, and have been vacuum cast in brass from 3D printed masters, ensuring the highest of detail and surface finish.
