Casting Service

Engine-ious Models offer a custom casting service to customers seeking to have their own components cast in brass. Unlike many casting houses, there are no minimum quantities, although a minimum charge may apply. This service is flexible to suit the needs of individuals, and can range from the customer supplying a drawing/measurements for a component and us dealing with the rest, right up to the customer providing their own, 3D printed* model for us to do the casting. More information about the casting process we go through can be found here.

For all casting enquiries, please use the form below.

*3D prints need to be in a suitable castable resin. We love the products from PowerResins, and use their 'Vintage' resin for most castings for our kits.

N.B. Everybody loves good customer service, and we pride ourselves on the quick, reliable and friendly service we provide. Please understand that Engine-ious Models is run in our 'spare' time around my main job in teaching (oh, and family too!). Therefore whilst we will do everything possible to turn your projects around as quickly as we can, it  could be a few days or more before we can complete your project. We will always be upfront about how long something could take, and always quote deadlines on the conservative side to avoid disappointments. For similar reasons, we are not able to accommodate  high volume  commercial  orders.
